Junior Code of Conduct

Junior Code of Conduct

Troon Welbeck Golf Club is dedicated to creating an environment that nurtures the enjoyment and enthusiasm of every member of our club.

OUR JUNIOR CODE

As a Junior Member, I agree to:

  • Be friendly and supportive and offer help when needed.
  • Practice and participate fairly and be trustworthy.
  • Behave respectfully towards coaches and volunteers, club staff, officials, other golfers, parents, team managers and spectators.
  • Respect the rules of the club and the facilities we use.

  • Be a positive role model, refrain from bullying and avoid inappropriate peer pressure.
  • Set a good example through punctuality, language, behaviour and respect for equipment and others.
  • Not smoke, consume alcohol or use drugs of any kind.
  • Report inappropriate behaviour or risky situations to a member of staff.
YOUR RIGHTS

Our club recognises that creating a supportive atmosphere allows everyone to participate and compete to the best of their abilities. While we have high expectations of our juniors' behaviour, juniors can expect the same standards in return from us.

You have the right to:

  • Be safe and happy while participating in golf.
