Judging by the large turnout , fourteen on Wednesday and five on Saturday then lots of hangovers were enjoyed by many ,though not by me, cough, cough !
It was good to get the blood circulating after so much lying about eating and drinking -yes, we all agreed "I'm glad that's all over," until that is .... next Christmas, when we will do it all again !!
The course although looking easy enough because of the shortened fairways, due to temporary greens, proved more difficult than first thought. Balls that went whizzing through the air to land on the green after one or two shots then often took three or more shots to put in the hole !! Percy was having a field day amidst some heated expletives !!!
