On the Wednesday of the 16th august and the Saturday of the 19th August we had one of our fun golf days which are staged four times in the year.
This year the above title certainly lived up to it's name!
The format was a Texas scramble-with a difference??!! A reverse Texas scramble to be sure, with four appointed holes being designated as the ones in which the format of playing from the best shot would be reversed.In other words on those holes we all had to play from the worst shot !!! Fun and games ensued when one of the ball landed in a bunker. Yes we all had to replay our ball from the ball from the bunker.
Safe to say this format was modified for the Saturday and balls in the bunker weren't counted as part of the play !!!
